Iron Patriot and Iron Man

Yes, I admit I'm over enthusiastic when talking about movies. Today, out of my plan again I join my friends to watch Iron Man 3 at One Borneo's GSC Cinema. For me, this movie is really great, it is more like a comedy movie now than a pure science fiction movie. What really touch me is the love of Tony for his girlfriend no matter how stubborn and self pride his character is, and how he try to protect his perfect woman even at the moment of death. Plus, the name for all the Iron Men model, sounds like bible chapters for me: Mark1, Mark2, Mark3 etc, which is kinda interesting.

I was very excited throughout the movie screening. But before that, in the advertisement session, something makes me scream and shout so loud in the crowded cinema>> It's  the trailer of Star Trek: Into Darkness!! Oh no! >< I wont forgive myself if I miss this movie! Movie Marathon, here we go!

Holy Spirit Weekend----A week away for CampusAlpha

This is my second time of joining Holy Spirit Weekend, a CampusAlpha Camp held at Kokol Hill Prayer Submit, KK. This is one of the church that I miss to go the most because of it's lovely and peaceful environment and most importantly can have a chance to spend time with God with my brothers and sisters.

Apple is Unusual Today

It's not an usual thing for me to self pick a horror movie to watch. Since is a gathering with my church friends, I just follow it. I had some trauma and extremely scared to watch horror and violent movie before, where the person beside me always be my victim. However, when watching Last Weekend today, I still hope to have someone beside me, but I'm much more 'stable' and calm than before. In fact, I wasn't scare at all. I even feel it is funny that it scares the audience with loud sound system and supernatural fake scenes. I think it is a good news for me today :)

The Last Supper

Last Sunday evening, Alabaster Jar cell group from CampusLife celebrated the farewell of Marcus for going back his hometown, baptism for some of the members as well as the birthday of Terence Fung. We had a wonderful steamboat, sharings and games session. Feel so blessed to get to know the challenging journey of most of the new Christians  where it boost up my faith and strength more as I reach out to my family.

The New Creation of Apple

Some late posting here. For the past Sunday I had my public declaration of following Jesus, the water baptism. Since I attended the baptism class, I had been so excited and joyful for my baptism to come. I received so many wishes and words of blessings from brothers and sisters in Christ. :) Since my church, Skyline is a wonderful church in a 5star hotel, they always like to call this a 5star baptism XD

Hakim's Farewell by FunZ

Our member, aka my body build up coach, Hakim is leaving soon to KL. After an endless discussion of the farewell party, finally we decided to have it on 19th April, 7pm at One Borneo Hypermall's Secret Recipe. As what typical Malaysians act, all the members really gathered an hour after the 7pm. XD It is funny that the photos of the meals are taken but nobody is remember to take a group photo. It's kinda sad but this funny guy and all his lame jokes will always stay in our memories.

For no reason I over eat so much today. My dinner menu today > Sweet corn, Karipuff, TomYam Meehoon, Brownies with Ice Cream, Ice Lemon Tea etc. Argh~ tummy is growing already :(

At least 130 people are injured and three dead after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon Monday afternoon. The injuries include dismemberment, witnesses said, and local hospitals say they are treating shrapnel wounds, open fractures and limb injuries. Ready to face the War!

Well, election is coming, for sure my parents keep asking me when will I going back home. I just finished my flight ticket booking, the dates are confirmed. It's a struggle again and I don't know what will happen the moment I reach my hometown end of this month. It's been a trauma for me since last time where what seems to be right and so excited end up with a emotional war of me against the whole Tan's relatives. ><

In the world we living, we tend to feel worry and fear for our living and the people around us. We might think that we will be died around the age of 80, or the moment we step out from our home. Is that mean our life is safe when we stay in a house full of locks? Or it is safe when our money is pretty enough for our living? 

I come from a family background where it's always has rules and elders' tradition. And I am the firstborn that like to act different in the family. Since I'm a child, I'm the only one in the family who love to celebrate Christmas so much no matter how many times I being laughed by people around. I love to make my own little Christmas tree and other colorful decoration to make my room looks pretty. Besides, I always love to play my mum's 80's music discs, and just pull my siblings and cousins to join me for disco dancing in living room. Still remember how much I enjoy to do these before, no matter how many hours and days it takes.

As I move to high school and university, things started to change. I'm so scared of people watching me until I closed myself in room for dancing. As I moved on in life, advices, arguments and gossips went towards me, since then, I lost and I didn't have the courage to do what I loved to do anymore.

Out of my plan I came to KK, I found the truth of my life back, that burns my passion of dance again. It is the faith that I'm now able to fight for even being called by people to stop again. Because of Love, I'm now enjoy every moments of my life; because of Love, I dare to believe in myself; because of Love, I choose to love the people who hates me, even they are my family; and because of Love, my family starts to support me again. 

There will always be fear. But there will always be a choice for us, if we believe it :)

Malaysians, TRUE Your Vote.

Election is coming soon in Malaysia. Here are some tips for all Malaysians who is eligible to vote this year, make sure your vote is right and safe throughout the whole election. :D

No matter you're at another side of Malaysia or outside of country, make sure you BACK TO VOTE. 
Your vote is count for Malaysia. :)

Other than people's advice, DO SOME RESEARCH from news, videos, tapes etc before you vote.

EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS. Search for the Acts and know your protections and rights as a voter.

ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER to vote, especially your family, friends and neighbors.

Who Do You Think You Are? DISC - Finding Yourself

My church cell, CampusLife is organised an incredible workshop, DISC, to find what personality we belongs to, how to deal with the different groups of people with different personality, realize our own weak points and manage ourselves right again. This test is performed by our beloved Auntie Elizabeth, who is  an expert in this area for more than 10 years. We had lots of fun throughout the workshop, and most importantly we are bonded together as a family and have learned some precious knowledge on how to contact with the people around us in our life.

This is the overview of DISC:

According to the test, I'm 'I' people. Yeah, I am super enthusiastic since I found my love in dancing :D. However, the test also showed I have 'S' in the inner side of me. That's why Auntie Elizabeth sense that's something she need to talk to me and I'm so thankful to have her advice in managing myself.

Seems like we have less 'Demanding' people on that day :)

There are lots of games in the workshop to test our teamwork and our reaction towards different kinds of situation. One of the games that speaks to me the most is the Lego Game, which reflects in our life, we may face tasks that keep changing even at the last minute of the deadline of the tasks. If such impossible tasks is given to you, what will you react to it?

Well, from what I saw I react, ^^'' I just ask my group to finish the building structure of Lego in my way as long as an output is done on the time due.

EXODUS Dance Drama by Sacred Heart Chinese Youth & Synergy Dance Studio

Yesterday an inspiring dance drama is performed at Sabah Theological Seminary(STS), choreographed by some of the amazing contemporary dance choreographers, including Sir Christopher Liew. I'm blessed by my sister, Veronica who bought me and Terence tickets to watch this show. It was an inspiring show where all the performers come together with a right heart and speaks the good news to the audience through the drama.

FunZ in Sabah Idol 2012 - with 51DC

Just going through some of the FunZ dance videos in one of my crew member's youtube account. Tadda~ I found one of our performance with 51DC at Sabah Idol 2012. It was a great experience and I still remember how much I enjoy the dance on stage. :) Hope you guys enjoy it too.

Apple Starts to Float

Yo! It's dancing apple's first official swimming lesson. Since I promise myself to get over my emotional wall for swimming, I keep trying and trying to swim no matter how many times I almost drown today. Thanks to my cell leader, Esther to guide me, advice me and keep pushing me to get over my fear for swimming. As I learn, I get to know that calm the heart is the most important thing in swimming. That's the challenge I'm still working on since I'm not really control my breath very well.

After swimming, we went to a Korean restaurant in Likas Square to have our tea time meal.
