You Don't Need a Big Act to Change Them

I started to walk and taking public transports since I sold my car. I enjoy to walk and communicate with anyone I met around me even I know it takes a longer time and impossible to avoid hot weather sometimes especially in Malaysia.

Few days ago as I walk to the nearest bustop from my house, which takes around 20 minutes to reach, I notice that there's few kids playing somewhere near a roadside playground. I know that there'a a lot of poor and homeless people in KK but I never notice that there's some live just near to my home. This morning after church service I had lunch with my church gang, which is our usual fellowship time after Sunday service. Since I can't finish my lunch, I brought back the remain drumstick fried chicken, together with some toy I get from one of the fair in the shopping mall. After that, as usual I follow church bus to go back to the bustop and walk to my house. As I walk back, I finally saw the little toilet sized wooden house the kids live behind a building and there's around 6 of them including their mother. They were playing infront of their house. At that moment, I just walk towards them, passed my fried chicken and the toy I got to the kids, smile and say bye to them. I can really feel that joy inside my heart when I saw them so happy and smile back to me.

For those who reading this, whenever you have a chance to reach out to people who are in need, don't be afraid or shy to approach them. Even a simple smile from you can lights up their world. God bless you all :)

What I Do to What You Throw

My art fingers are back! It's been a long time I stop doing handicrafts. Still remember how I love to transform recycle material into something beautiful as my collection or as some gifts to bless people. Now I start it again yo! This time I make some bible verses bookmarks from used papers, Starbucks napkins, ribbons etc. It's ready to give away :D

Today's Bitter Sweet

Okay, there has been a lot of 'flies' chasing after me lately, I wonder where is my butterfly. Can I consider it as my 'single crisis'? One of the 'flies' has been threaten me to meet up, and things get even worse when I try to say nicely to him and reject him. Another old 'fly' has been treat me like his second wife, plan to buy me a car and a house to spend the rest of my life with me. I really feel like crying already. I wish I can just say 'actually I have a boyfriend already', then none of these will happen. Unfortunately I didn't and I don't want to lie to just get over it.

After a volcano type of emotion in daytime, I met up with my church buddies at Secret Recipe for dinner. Again, I ate too much; and again, food photos instead of people.

I ordered two of these, guess which two are mine? XD

Get Dirty for Nature

This morning I follow KK volunteers crew, under the Marketing Club of our school, together with my friend Gabriel to attend a clean up campaign in KK Wetland Center. We were having briefing with some video screening about the awareness and importance in protecting the wetland in the world.

Beautiful Nature, unfortunately there's full of rubbish inside, and that's why we came for :)

Registration and some simple breakfast.

KK used to be a place full of wetlands. Due to building construction, This area at Likas is the only one left.

Ready to get dirty.

We are the superhero here to save the nature. :D

Group Photo with all the UMS Volunteers :)

"We often busy with our daily life and chasing after better living quality, why don't take a simple step to save our nature by joining voluntary work? Not only can get close to the environment, but also saving them with our best ability as well. Sign Up now for Kota Kinabalu Volunteers, you can make a difference."

Do You Look Back at Yourself?

As most of the people know about the result for Malaysia's election, it doesn't really the result wanted isn't it? Since the moment the result announced few days ago, facebook and twitter are flooded with comments about the election. Well, I did post and shared some of it too. In fact, I'm very happy for the result because BN is getting lower seats since last two election and Pakatan is keep rising. I know Pakatan didn't manage to win the place of becoming Malaysia's government this year, but look at the bright side, we are closer to it already!

I believe Malaysians always have the spirit of unity and love for each other, no matter what race or where we are from. As we all can see, how easily the feeling of worry, hate, angry, selfishness, blaming and unforgiveness attacks us when we lose our patience on waiting and believing the result we hunger for.

Smile, Malaysians! Remember Malaysia always shines, only the devil is dark. As long as we keep the faith and believe it, we will reach there one day :)

Childhood that Melts Our Heart

The Eldest Me :) Blur face all along the way XD

My Coolest Brother :)

The Second Youngest Sister :)

The Youngest yet Naughtiest one. :)

First Giant attacks me Tonight

Well, in the middle of the night, my mind is like an ipad again. This time, no more looking for food in fridge, but some plans and visions for future. Let all this images bind into a story. As I imagine my story and closer to the climax, where I can view myself dancing on stage with my prince and teaching bunch of kids to dance, the dark force of the giants keep chasing after it; gossips and judgments.

Found this interesting picture from facebook :)

I can say that, nothing of those will stop me, as long as I stay strong on right foundation. :) Be strong and courageous to chase after your dream ya everyone!

Food Hunters in Seremban

I have no idea since when my sisters and mum fall in love with this place. They brought me here almost everytime when I went back home. It is the 'Shabu Zen' steamboat restaurant in Seremban. There's alot of delicious food for us to pick, all kinds of meat, seafood, vegetables etc. There's also some after meal dessert! The attractive point is, we only need to pay a fix amount per person then we can enjoy as much food as we can already! :)

Unstoppable Food keep coming :)

My two beautiful yet mature sisters. :)

Stomach ain't got space everytime after visiting it. XD

Highly recommended Japanese Restaurant! For more details: http://shabuzen.com/

The Main Key to Uganda's Revival

As I read through a book called ''Reaching Out to the Father'' by Teresa Tay on my way back to my hometown, one passage comes to me and bring me the urge to share it out. It is about the history of revival in Uganda and what they went through before it.

''Christians in Uganda were horribly persecuted under Idi Amin (1971 - 1979), who closed down churches, executed or exiled key Christian leaders and killed thousands of lay people. The suffering caused Ugandas to go under their knees. A deep cry for help was born and with it a new seriousness in prayer. John Mulinde of World Trumpet Ministries has this to say, 'It was no average prayer, but the deep and lasting prayer characteristic of revival movements.' Today Uganda is governed by Christians and it is one of a few nations in Africa holding out hope of progress for all Africa.''

According to the interview of Jackson Senyanga, Pastor of Christian Life Church, Kampala, Uganda, The Lord has shown them there must be six levels of prayer so that God can harvest a nation to Himself:
1) prayers in homes
2) prayers in churches
3) prayers in communities
4) prayers in cities
5) prayers in a nation
6) prayers for the nations.
These six waves create an atmosphere where God can dwell.

Time tests Trust

Once I've been told, ''It's always not about what you got, but what you made of what you got.'' I'm in love with dance and movies, for me it reflects the magical way of art in touching people's life. And it's always so great to share something that we love and keep inspiring people around us.

However, without self-control and faith in our heart, to chase after our passion on something we love, will never enough to lead us on the right path. I lost before, for following my own will even being told it's wrong. My stubbornness blinds my eyes to make things seems to be right than believe on something that suppose to be right. As I enjoy my life now and think back of the challenges that I faced, I feel so thankful for it. I wouldn't never find back myself and learn from my mistake without the striking of the challenges; and I would never learn to know how we can easily lose our faith and patience when things doesn't act on the timing we want.

I being promised things will be done as long as I keep believing. Well, weeks, months and years passed now. I admit my faith did shaken, especially when I think I'm the only person to face all the giants, and it even pull me down when the giants are my family members I loved. A voice keep telling me: '' How if it takes 10 years to see the result of the promise? How about another 20 years after that?'' I realize that,  matter of time is just the matter of time. Whether it will be done for us the next day or the next 80 years for us to see, it doesn't matter. Above all, who is the one we hold on to during the ups and downs while we are waiting? Who is the one we can fully put our trust in with our whole heart and never being failed?

For all readers, May God bless you and your family to have a joyful life in Him. :)
